Dr. Buddhima Hansinie Subasinghe is an academic, researcher, a journalist and a scholar. The youngest PhD holder of Sri Lanka who graduated at 25 yrs of age from the University of Peradeniya in the field of Cyber Security, Computer Science. She holds 8 years of experience in media as a presenter of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Cooperation.

Currently she is the Head of the Department of Computer Science at National Institute of Business Management ( NIBM) who is also a visiting Lecturer at the University of Moratuwa, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. She is the Toastmasters International (USA) Leadership and Training Institute Chair, District 82, Sri Lanka (2017-2018) She was also awarded the emerging ICT Leader of the Year National Excellence Award at Infotel 2017.

She was also internationally recognized at Top 50 Women Awards 2018 for her Leadership Excellence in Information Technology. She is a keynote speaker at many National and International forums who empowers youth and women in the fields of leadership, communication and engineering.

Kushan Ratnapala

A technology and cyber security advocate promoting effective and ethical use of Information Technology for a progressive society, Kushan counts over 14 years of experience in the IT Sector serving in both management and technical roles. Achiever of CMI Charted Manager title, Kushan holds Master’s Degrees in Business Administration as well as Cyber Security. He was also awarded the Best Manager - Services Sector (Large) at CMI Management Excellence Awards 2017.

His professional certifications include; Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified EU General Data Protection Regulation Practitioner, Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor, ISO 31000:2009 (Risk Management) Practitioner and DevOps (Foundation).

Thilak is currently working as the Managing Director of ES 2 Solutions in technology risk management services, the chief information officer & chief information security officer of Transact Lanka (Pvt) Limited, IT consultant of SAS Holding. His areas of expertise information security, ISO 27001 certification, PCI compliances & Electrical systems testing & inspections. He was first Chief Information Security officer of Doha Bank, Qatar and become the first & only bank in Middle East with ISO 27001 certification during his service of the bank. Further he has the honor of implementing first ISO 27001 certification for plantation company in Sri Lanka and become the first PCI-PIN security consultant for Sri Lanka. Other than being a information security professional, Thilak is also trained for Microsoft Windows systems engineering, Oracle Data base administration, AS 400 System administrations & project management. Further he is the first Sri Lanka to have CBCI certification and a member since 2010.

He was lecture for Bachelor of Information Technology degree & Linux system administration. He was awarded as best lecture for computer network subject & awarded as one of the best CISO in Sri Lanka. He has trained many information security & business continuity management professionals in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Middle East. Also he has contributed to formulate business

His current research and development interests are in the areas of mobile payments system and data security in industrial controls systems. Champika Wijayatunga
Regional Security, Stability and Resiliency Manager - Asia Pacific, ICANN

Champika is the Regional Security, Stability and Resiliency (SSR) Engagement Manager (APAC) at Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the global body that coordinates Internet's unique identifiers across the world. He is part of ICANN's Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) Team and represents ICANN in Security, Technical, Law Enforcement and Capacity Building forums in the APAC region.

Prior to ICANN, Champika held managerial, specialist and liaison roles at the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), the Regional Internet Registry for the Asia Pacific. Champika started his career with IBM Corporation as a technical specialist and later worked in IT industry, academia, research, and training environments. Champika has been regular speaker and a resource person at various international security forums, INTERPOL, Council of Europe etc.

Champika received a number of excellence awards during his academic and professional careers and also served in various technical community groups and committees.

Air Commodore Arosha Vithana

Air Commodore Arosha Vithana was born in January 1968. He joined the Sri Lanka Air Force as an Officer Cadet on 17th May 1988 and was commissioned as a Pilot Officer in the Electronics Engineering Branch on 17th Jul 1990. The officer has attended different professional courses and graduated from Senior Staff College in Peoples Republic of China. He holds a Master’s degree in Defence studies (Management) from the Sir John Kothalawala Defence University. He also attended Junior Command an Staff college in Coimbature, India.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer studies from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Presently this officer is reading for the Master of Science Degree in Cyber Security at CICRA campus affiliated to the Asia E-university of Malaysia. He has held the position of Senior Information Technology Officer, Command and Chief Information Technology Officer at the Information Technology Unit Air Force Headquarters. Presently he is the Director Information Technology of the Air Force. He was instrumental in setting up the Ministry of Defence Cyber Operations Centre and the Directorate of Information Technology at Air force Headquarters.

Dr. Harinda Vidanage
Executive Director, Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS)

Dr. Harinda Vidanage is Executive Director, Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS), prior to his assignment at the BCIS he was Assistant Professor of International Relations, St. Lawrence University, New York from 2012 – 2016. He taught courses on International Relations, Global Governance, International Security, Technology & Warfare and global implications of Cyber politics. He specializes in the area of Cyber Politics.

Among his scholarly and academic achievements are the Senior Fulbright Award of Scholar in Residence 2011. The Prestigious Overseas Research Scholarship (ORS) awarded by the British Government 2005. The Principals Scholarship awarded by University of Edinburgh 2005. Dr. Vidanage is political scientist by training and gained his doctorate from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He was the Academic Director, Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) 2009 - 2011. His professional experiences include appointments as Adviser, International Affairs to the Sri Lankan President 2006 - 2010 and the role of Consultant to the Sri Lanka Prime Minister during 2004- 2005 on International Affairs.

As an academic Dr. Vidanage serves as visiting lecturer, MPhil/PhD Program Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) University of Colombo, MA International Relations Program at University of Colombo, MSc in Security & Strategic Studies Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) Dr. Vidanage contributes regularly to electronic and print media analyzing current global political developments. He is the author of the biweekly international affairs column ‘Stratsight’ on the Sri Lankan daily newspaper the, Daily Mirror.
